Oklahoma House of Reps Acquires Committee Voting System
Thursday, October 01, 2009
A new IRC Committee Voting System was recently installed in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. The new system incorporates voting and sound capability within each desk unit and is managed with the IRC Committee Voting System software which is based on the same software used in the House chamber. Each member desk station includes voting buttons, a goose-neck microphone and a small on-board speaker. The House has employed the use of an LCD TV screen for viewing the item information as well as votes and vote totals. As well the LCD screen can be utilized to run presentations or videos for the committees.
