IRC also integrated the System Control Unit and other equipment into a rack along with the page control system and re-lamped the old incandescent page indicators with long-lasting LEDs. Late in 2010, Maryland will become the first installation in the country of the new .Net developed voting package called xmLegislator which is a highly configurable version of the current IRC Session software. These updated components will guarantee the Maryland Legislature many years of versatile and streamlined functionality in collecting and managing the votes.
