Phase II of the new website will be up and running
soon and will also provide an area for the customer to report a problem via the
website. Another portion of Phase II that will be functional soon is the
interactive map which will allow the viewer to click on a state or installation
and view detailed information, photographs and video regarding all IRC

Recently, the Maryland House and Senate were looking to
upgrade some of their system components and improve their process by utilizing
IRC’s Session voting software . The upgraded system components include new
member voting buttons with beautiful new plates as well as upgraded computers
and software functionality, including the Request to Speak software .
IRC also
integrated the System Control Unit and other equipment into a rack along with
the page control system and re-lamped the old incandescent page indicators with
long-lasting LEDs. Late in 2010, Maryland
will become the first installation in the country of the new .Net developed voting
package called xmLegislator which is a highly configurable version of the
current IRC Session software. These updated components will guarantee the

A new IRC Committee Voting System was recently installed in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. The new system incorporates voting and sound capability within each desk unit and is managed with the IRC Committee Voting System software which is based on the same software used in the House chamber. Each member desk station includes voting buttons, a goose-neck microphone and a small on-board speaker. The House has employed the use of an LCD TV screen for viewing the item information as well as votes and vote totals. As well the LCD screen can be utilized to run presentations or videos for the committees.
